MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN. BEHIND THE SCENES IN CHRISTCHURCH. The scene was a large room in a house in Christchurch. Between 20 and 30 people were present. The convener of the meeting, in whose house it was being held, had undertaken some organising work in connection with the municipal elections. Before ho started to address trie meeting he walked over to the mantelpiece on which was standing a bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver. He took a dose, and remarked: “I have been in bod for the last two days, and as I did not w 7 ant to miss to-night’s gathering, I got the wife to get me some ‘Baxter’s’ this morning, and here I am, feeling much better already.” Bronchial colds are always bad at this time of the year, and there is no remedy that will give greater relief to such a cold as will “Baxter’s.” But do not wait until you are laid low. Start with “Baxter’s” at the first sign of a cold. It does its good work right away, not only clearing the cold right out of the system, but fortifying the system to resist the ever-recurring attacks of the cold germ. Every chemist and store sells “Baxter’s” in the 1/6, 2/6 and 4/6 family bottle.—Adv* -
