SINGER FOR “THE GEISHA”

PUPIL OF HA AVER A CONVENT WELLINGTON SOCIETY’S PRODUCTION A request has been made to the Hawera Convent by the Wellington Operatic Society for the services of a soprano singer to fill the principal character roll in the society’s forthcoming production of “The Geisha,” which is to run for a season of 10 nights during the month of August. This is a distinct tribute to the teaching ability of the Sisters of St. Joseph and the talents of ffiieir pupils. One senior girl has been recommended for the role and proceeds to Wellington for a preliminary test.
