SOUTHLAND MAN'S DEATH (By Telegraph—Preaa Association.) INVERCARGILL, April S. Frederick Longman, aged SS, a painter, married and residing at Waikiwi', this evening slipped and fell head first down a well on his property. The well contained three feet of water, and when Longman was extricated a few minutes lated ,by his son and a neighbour he was dead. The "well was five foot deep and two feet in diameter.
