TENNIS AT HAWERA

ISTRAIIFORD DEFEATS PARK

WEEK-END MATCH PLAYED.

During the week-end a team from the Park (Hawera) Tennis Club travelled to Stanford, and in a "friendly” niter-club game lost 21 sets (193 games) to three sets (100 games). The visitors were somewhat Handicapped by the fact that the match was played on hard courts. Many close games resulted, however, and the visit, was much, enjoyed.
