STAVISKY’S BAD WRITING CAUSE OF HEARTBURING. DOUBTS CONCERNING CHEQUES. (United Press Association —By Electric TeWrfrapn Copvripbt.) PARIS, Alairch S. Stavisky’-s almost illegible handwriting and his practice of often noting only Christian names on the counterfoils of cheques is leading to heartburning. Cheques are being attributed to anybody and everybody. At the resumed sitting of the inquiry several commissioners complained that Socialist colleagues wore trying to make electoral -capital by attributing a certain cheque to a political opponent.
