OFFICIAL FORECAST. (For 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day.) The general inference is that the anti-cyclone mentioned yesterday is moving from the Tasman Sea. on to the North Island. In the far south, however, barometers are commencing to fall under the influence of the first of an extensive series of westerly depressions which yesterday covered the whole of Southern Australia. The forecast is for moderate south-west to westerly winds and the weather should be fair to fine and milder. Seas will be moderate.
