CALF-REARING COMPETITION
BOYS AND GIRLS’ CLUBS AWARDS AT ARiARATA The judging of entries in the calfrearing competition organised by the South Taranaki Boys and Girls’ Clubs, was continued yesterday, when Ararata was visited by the judges. There was an exceptionally good attendance of parents, tlie fact that the judging took place a month earlier than previously no doubt assisting in this direction. All present took a close intqpest in the work of the judges and a number of questions were asked and answered. Messrs L. S. Barraclough (condition) and N. R. Butler (type) were the judges and both gave the children much useful information. The awards were as follow: Jerseys
