LONDON, Sent. 24. The Rev. Percy’ Dearmer, D.D., preaching at Westminster Abbey appealed for a broader scientific outlook. He urged that it was immoral for scientists to say r they were unable to cease inventing the most efficient explosives and poison gas. They should work for international peace and maintain the standard of scientific ethics. Both scientists and churches suffered from a sectarian, narrow outlook He endorsed the British Association President’s suggestion of a Solomon’s House, where specialists could serve humanity by religiously combining the powers of science, art and ethics.
