Aug. 28. i Paku Kiiigi, a Maori labourer, aged 52, and Claude McEwen Hawker, aged 29, were charged in the Petone Court to-day that, with intent to extort £5, they accused Alfred Grassi with an indecent assault. A remand was granted till September 4. Bail was allowed, a condition being that accused report to the police daily.
