The Emperor of Japan to-day reviewed at the manoeuvres the strongest fleet that has ever saluted a Japanese .ruler. The tonnage was 847,766 tons, compared with 703,295 in 1930. Areoplanes numbered 180, compared with 72, but the fleet can carry more. A striking features was the increased strength of first-class cruisers, longer m range and stronger in striking power, replacing the predominantly light cruiser fieet of 1927. PACIFICISTS' ATTACKED.
