ROAD SERVICE RESTRICTION
PROTEST AT FOXTON CHAMBER- OF COMMERCE VIEW ,'By Telegraph—Press Association.) FOXTON, Aug. 26. At last night’s meeting of the Foxton Chamber of Commerce a- resolution was carried protesting to the Minister of Transport against the decision of the Transport Appeal Board restricting road-passenger service between ‘Wanganui a.nd Wellington as the main highway between Turakina and Levin is too distant from the railway and curtailment was against the public interest.
