The general inference is that an intense anti-cyclone covers the whole of New Zealand, the weather being fine and calm practically generally. A shallow cyclone which is forming on the New South Wales coast is likely to be affecting local weather after about two days. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, with easterlies predominating, and the weather will probably be fine and mild. Smooth seas may be expected.
