APPEAL ON BEHALF OF NEEDY

CLOTHES DRIVE ON TUESDAY

MAYORESS STATES THE FACTS

Unfortunately there are in Hawera a number of worthy necessitous persons whose needs have been as far as possible met by various organisations —among these being tlie Women’s National Reserve. The winter is now here and the W.N.R. cupboard is bare. Warm clothing is a very urgent requirement and a clothes drive has been arranged for Tuesday next. Mrs. Pacey states the facts in the advertisement columns in this issue and vouches that the oases sought to be relieved are absolutely genuine. Such an appeal speaks for itself eloquently and no do.ulbt those able to contribute will do so willingly.
