SUICIDE OF DENTIST

INQUEST AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, May 21. A verdict of suicide by gas poisoning was returned hv Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M., coroner, at an inquest concernino- the death of a dentist. Francis Sinclnir Shirriffs, aged 49. Deceased was found dead in his workroom in a Queen Street building on Wednesday morning. He had a cloth over his face and a gas tube in his mouth. Deceased was a married man living with his wife at Eden Crescent. Pie had no children.
