Hie city mill areas are paralysed ana thousands of Hindu workers, anxious to take revenge for Moslem atrocities in the city itself, are now engaged m guerilla tactics against all the Moslem suburbs. The police and military are now tiring at sight of the combatants, but their task is difficult. Last night 132 were killed and 1100 injured, many seriously. . ~ , The Bombay Light Horse and an auxiliary torce of artillery have been called out to aid the troops and police in coping with the rioters. Miss Madeline Blade, a Gandhi devotee, has been released on the completion of a three months’ sentence tor participating in the civil disobedience campaign. She was refused permission to interview Gandhi in the loona gaol.
