FALL OF SIXTY FEET
car goes over bank. DRIVER FATALLY HURT. (By Telegraph—Preen Association.) HAMILTON, Feb. 18. Fatal injuries were" received by James O'Connor, farmer, aged 35, of Wahuroa. when a car he was driving skidded in loose metal- and left the road when passing over the Marnnku Hills. The vehicle fell 00 feet and Mr. O’Connor had one of his thighs and an ilrm broken. He was admitted io the Waikato Hospital, where he died last evening. At the time of the accident Mr. O’Connor • was accompanied by three brothers, all of whom escaped injury.
