Klotz, a ibriliant lawyer and financial expert, an. ex-Minister and a signatory to the Versailles Treaty, has been taken to a 1 mental home. Newspapers state l ■that it is the result of unfortunate financial transactions and heavy gambling. A vigorous attempt was made to keep the fatot secret. Klotz for some time seemed to have lost the sense of value of money. He gambled for high stakes at a. seaside casino and paid with •cheques, which were dishonoured.
