Tardiness in the renewal of radio licenses this year, that is if licenses are going to be renewed, is shown in figures supplied by the Telegraph Department. Twenty-five per cent, of the receiving licenses have not yet been renewed. On March 31, 1727 dealers’ licenses were iru force, and the number applied for and recorded in the head oflice on April .30 was only 829. The deficiency is not likely to be wholly caught up, as many smaller dealers have gone out of business. Saying the fact was established that separation had been brought about by the wrongful conduct of petitioner himself, and, that being so, it seemed to him the petition should be dismissed, Mr. Justice Blair dismissed the divorce petition of William George Bright against Maria Catherine Bright, stated a Press Association message from Auckland. The petition was filed on the grounds of mutual separation. When hearing the case last week the Judee said it seemed to him the “mutuality” was all on the man’s side. FURS AT BUCKRELL’S.
