Society have received .the following cabled advice from their London representatives:— Butter market is steadier at lower price after depression, though demand is poor. New Zealand, 156 sto 158 s; Australian, 154 sto 1565; Argentine, 146 sto 1545. Cheese slow. New Zealand 90s, 91s. Meat: Better demand for lambs and frozen mutton; position slight advance. Dailgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of the loth inst:— Butter.—Market weak and irregular. Wo quote: Danish 180 s to. 186 s; New Zealand finest salted 156 s to 1625; Australian finest nasal tori 162 s to 164 s: salted 152 s to 1565. Cheese. —New Zealand white and coloured 90s to 925; spot price for Canadian white and coloured 98s to lOOs: c.-i.-f. price for Canadian, not quoted ; market dull.
