Army the latter continued batting, and had made 179 for five wickets when the game was abandoned on account of rain. There was a brilliant morning, but after only half an hour’s play, a thunderstorm deluged the ground and the match had to be abandoned. Details of the scores were:— NEW ZEALAND.
