ARRIVES AT RANGOON.
DELAYED BY BAD WEATHER.
FLIGHT THROUGH RAIN
BY CAEI-E —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. RANGOON, Sept. 14. Mr. Alan Cobham has arrived at Rangoon. . Received. 11 a.m. to-day. RANGOON, Sept. 15. Mr. Cobham states that they encountered' a heavy (rainstorm, on the flight -from Penang to Victoria 'Point on the eighth. They landed on a. lonely island and during :a lull reached the village of Tia-noo-n in Siam. Minor repairs to the machine were necessary, owing to the severe buffetting received. They" were delayed at Tanoon till Thursday afternoon by rain, and then they proceeded to Victoria- Point. They started for Rangoon, on Friday morning, hut nan into- the worst ra-iru they had ever experienced. They returned to Victoria Point, where they landed with considerable difficulty. They were compelled: to remain there till the loth when they readied Rlangoo-n after flying through 100 miles of -a.in.
