It is -reported from Athens that an attempt was made to assassinate the dictator, General Pangalos, while lie was lunching at a hotel on the island of iSpetsai. The -attendants over-pow-ered the assailant, who- proved to be an insane merchant. —-Aus.-N.Z. Cable A/ssn.
