ON THE AIR TO-NIGHT.
STATION IYA, AUCKLAND
The new Auckland radio .station (IYA), which is to take the air officially at eight o’clock to-night, is, judging by the manner in which the preliminary broadcast was carried out on Thursday evening, going to be all that was said about it. The two 104 ft masts on the roof of George Court's 104 ft building posses a very businesslike appearance, and certainly as these masts made their appearance, » ■corresponding rise was felt in the hopes of the listeners-in-to-be of this new station .
