RIFLE SHOOTING.
HAWERA DEFENCE CLUB, The Hawera Defence Rifle Club held a .shoot on Saturday. The wind was tricky, and t-he riflemen were always liable to- b© blown out on to a. three. The third round of the. championship saw the president, A. G. Robertson, turn in the best total! a 93. The last shoot for the president's trophy wa.s held, Rifleman Booth’s 94 being the best score. Several prominent sliors were unable to compete. It now remain® for the competitors in the president’s trophy to reject one score in order that the winner may be decided, upon.
