EMPIRE WEEK.
INAUGURAL MEETING- TO-NIGHT. In order to launch the Empire Week and children ’s' publicity scheme, and the Winter Show, it has been arranged
to hold a great Eihpire meeting in the Grand Theatre to-night. There will be speeches by the Hon. G. J. Anderson (Minister in Charge of Publicity), Mr L. B. Beale (British Trade 'Commissioner), Mr Robert Darroch (secretary anfl organiser of the Navy League in the Dominion), Mr L. Asher of t-Ed vva rd® (president of N.Z. Association of British Manufacturers), and Messrs J. B. Murdoch, E. A. Pacey, and J. R. Corrigan.
