LATEST QUOTATIONS. CHEESE A SLIGHT DECREASE. Cable advices received from London this morning by Mr G. H. Buckeridge, from his principals, Messrs H. A. Lane and Co., Ltd., show that butter is quoted at 172-s, with a quiet market, while cheese is 92s to 935, with a market very unsettled. The cheese quotations show a decline of about 3s, but Mr Buckeridge advises that this is to be expected, because the unsettled conditions at Home ar© certain to have curtailed somewhat the purchasing power of the people generally.
