ELECTORS WAGE WAR.
RIFLES TO SETTLE DISPUTE. , SHERRJF KILLED. NEW YORK. Nov. 19. An election controversy at the village of Hyden resulted in the sheriff being killed. In consequence, mountaineer factions are marching into battle, and over.soo of them carry repeating rifles. All the village officials have been forced to flee for their lives.
Machine-gun troops are being rushed from Frankfort to quel l the disorder.
