TRAGEDY AT BATHTNG RESORT. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT. PERTH, Nov. 23. In view of thousands of iieople enjovi ng the sunshine on Cottes'oe beach Simon Ettleton was killed by a s hark. The alarm was given by a woman bather close in, and the life-saving boat was immediately launched. Ett'eton, who was about 30 yards out, was seen to disappear, and the sea at the spot was tinged with red. When the boat reached him he was floating face downwards. The crew grabbed him, but before they could haul him on board the shark again attacked and practically severed the swimmer in half. Three sharks were seen, one of which followed the boat right to the shore.
