Extra choice ox sold at 38s per 1001 b, choice and prime 34s to 365, others 2os to 325, prime young cow and heifer beef 32s to 345, medium quality 25s to 30s, other 17s to 245. Sheep sold at late rates, extra heavy prime wethers £2 3s to £2 7s 3d, heavy prime £1 19s 6d to £2 2s, light £1 17s to £1 19s, others £1 12s to £1 16s, best heavy prime ewes £1 13s to £1 18s 6d, medium prime £1 9s to £1 12s, others £1 2s to £1 Bs. Pigs : Competition was keen throughput at last week’s prices.
