This is the record profit made out of any show that has been held up to date, and shows the high esteem held by the public of our annual fixture. When you consider that our show; clashed with botn Auckland and Wellington winter show dates, the results are very satisfactory. The committee have decided, in view o. the National Dairy Association holding their annual meeting in Hawera during Show Week, to make next year’s exhibition one of the best . he W m the Dominioai, and in view ol tins the committee ask for the hearty co-operation of all tradespeople and fanners of the Taranaki province. Your committee recognise that the heavy expenditure made in the past on permait buildings has been fully justified bv the support the public have so freely given to the show. Your directors have decided to write £496 5s 2d off buildings and plant in continuation of their policy. Our reserve account with the addition ol £54 7s 7d added this year stands at £2921 15s Id, which shows tiiat °m r finances are in a healthy state. The retiring directors are Messrs Goodwin. Barleyman and Corrigan, who are eligible and offer themselves for reelection. During the year Air Stratton had to. resign his position as auditor on account of ill-health. The committee wish to place on record the good work he did during his term of office. Mr C. Smsted was appointed to fill the position, and again offers his services.”
