A PARSON’S WIFE
CHARRED REMAINS
FOUND IN A FURNACE
POLICE SUSPICIOUS. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received Nov. 21, 9.50 a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 20. The charred remains of Mrs Sheathley, the wife of a clergyman in Columbus (Ohio) were found in a furnace at her home. The husband states that he made the discovery on returning from paying pastoral calls.
The police are working on the theory that Sneathley was infatuated with another woman whom he wished to marry, and killed his wife and incinerated the body.—-Sun Cable.
