LOAN PROPOSAL CARRIED
(BY TELEGRAPH :—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) TAURANGA, Sept. 1. A poll, taken by the Electric Power Board on a proposal to raise a loan of £100,OOl) for reticulating the county roads, resulted on the first count in 422 votes for and 277 against.
