. LONDON, Aug 31. Seven were burned to deatk and five others. were taken to hospital severely burned through a fire in a motor-bus at Nuneaton last niglit. The bus, which is licensed to seat fourteen, was crowded with shoppers, some standing, when it burst into flames descending, a hill. Practically all the passengers were burned. The fire is stated to be due to someone striking a match while thp driver was filling the petrol tank, the bus was immediately enveloped in flames. The. fire lasted only ten minutes. One dead man, who, it is stated, could have escaped, remained in the bus and helped his wife to escape through a window, and perished in trying to rescue others.-—Reuter.
