Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd. report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 28th inst. : New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy 11‘8d, Canterbury light . 12? d/ North Island heavy lid, light lljd. There is a strong demand for New Zealand lamb and the market i,s very firm and tending upwards. New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heavy 7£d, Canterbury light Bgd, North Island heavy 71d, light B£d. Steady demand for New Zealand mutton, but the market is quiet.
DAIRY PRODUCE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house' under date of the 28th inst. :—Butter: Market exceedingly quiet. We quote New Zealand salted 206 s (2065), exceptional brands 210 s (210), Danish 215 s (2165), finest Australian, salted 202s' (204sK unsalted 2065. Cheese: Market is very quiet.
