Received Sept. 1/ 9.35 a.m. ' . CAPETOWN, Aug. 31. tragic occurrence at Plumtree, Rhodesia, resulted in the death of Edward Power, former headmaster of the Wliangarei School, New Zealand. He came to South Africa two years ago and engaged i n teaching. Later, owing „ I (> suffering from neuritis, he uent farming at Plumtree, from where a report now states that in a fit of jealousy 1 ower shot and wounded his wife, who escaped' from a window and took refuge with neighbours.
