CONDITION OF SOME SERIOUS
BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT NEW YORK, Aug. 30. Over one hundred women delegates at the American Legion Auxiliary convention at Worcester, Massachusetts, were suddenly stricken with illness, which has now been diganosed as ptomaine, following on a banquet on Thursday.
The condition of twenty-five is described as serious, but not dangerous. Virtually every one of the two hundred delegates needed medical attention.
