WRONG SIGNAL
TERRIBLE DISASTER, TWO TRAINS COLLIDE. 95 DEAD; 104 INJURED. BY CABLE—PREBB ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT DELHI, Aug. 30. A railway collision, involving the deaths of ninety-five passengers and injuries to 104, occurred between two passenger trains on the North-West Railway near Montgomery. The cause of the accident was a wronjg signal, which gave the line as clear.
The disaster occurred at midnight, when most of the passengers were asleep.
