EUCHRE AND DANCE. The Druids held a very successful euchre party and dance in the Foresters’ Hall last night. This is the first of a series they are holding in aid of the Children’s Christmas Tree Fund. About 120 players took part in the euchre tournament, and the prizes were won by the following: Ladies—Mrs Alcßeth 1, Mrs Ward 2, Airs Perica 3, Aliss Brown 4, Airs Hannah 5. - Gents —Mr Bailey 1, Air H. Johns 2, Mr Shaw 3, Air G. Collins 4, Air T. Muir, junr., 5. Silent prizes—Lady, Mrs Vincent; gent, Air C. Coad. An excellent supper was provided by the ladies, after which about 80 couples enjoyed dancing until an early hour. Alessrs Ramsay and T. Fryer were efficient Al.C.’s, and all pi'esent had a very enjoyable time and voted the gathering a huge success. The supper room was in charge of Mesdames Adams, Viiiteu, Beauchamp and others, of whom special mention must be made. Air W. Adams and a willing band of Druids worked very hard to ensure success, and the Christmas Tree Fund will benefit considerably bv their efforts.
