REMARKABLE SPECTACLE. FIREMEN FATALLY INJURED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT ' Received Aug. 25, 9.2 5 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 24. A fire in an enamel factory at Dalston provided a remarkable spectacle. Exploding drums of turoentine were hurled hundreds of feet into the air and fell on the neighbouring houses, and escaping streams of oil and varnish penetrated everywhere, enveloping the place in flames. Twenty-five engines fought the outbreak. A falling wall fatally injured two firemen The damage is £3o,ooo.—Sydney Sun Cables.
