A fire broke out in the operating box at the Princess Theatre on Saturday a, and the programme films were destroyed and damage was dons to the machine and building. A fire occurred early tins morning at the Jewish Synagogue, and the building was practically gutted. The origin was a mystery. Parchment scrolls and .records were saved.
