CLAIMS OF CHINA. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Aug. 25, 9.25 a.m. PEKIN, Aug. 24. A group of members submitted a motion to the' House of Representatives demanding the withdrawal' of China from the League of Nations unless she is again given a seat in the League Council at the forthcGfliing session. The motion points out that the League has accepted the principle of geographical representation on the council for non-permanent members, and that Asia is not now so repi’esented. It therefore contends that China is entitled to re-election to the council. —Sydney Sun Cables.
