AMERICANS AT GREENLAND. By CARLE— PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Aug. 25, 12.5 p.m. WASHINGTON, Aug. 24. The American world fliers arrived at Ivigtut, Greenland, on Sunday. The two ’planes-made a jump from Fredermksdale to Ivigtut in 2hrs 15min. Jhe army air service was informed today that a radio message sent bv Lieut. Smith, commander of the flight squadron, made no mention of Lieut. Locatelli, the missing Italian aviator who crossed the Milwaukee. However! it is reported to-day that.--a search for the Italian had been fruitless Reuter. MISSING AVIATOR. WASHINGTON, Aug. 23. According to a message from Lieut. Smith, the American aviators in Greenland believe that Locatelli, who accompanied them on the hop-off from Iceland, and who has not arrived at h lederieksdal failed to get through the dense fog and never passed Cape Farewell. —Reuter.
