SHORTAGE DENIED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 19. A statement regarding the supply of fowl feed was made in the House" today by the Minister for Agriculture (Hon. W. Nosworthy). The Minister said he did not think there had been any shortage of fowl feed, and in any case the Government ivas not to blame. A large cargo was being held up owing to delay in unloading the Port Pirie, due to a strike with which the Government had nothing to do. Some 30,000 tons would he landed in New Zealand within the next four weeks. Poultry farmers would receive the same quality as millers, as the Government had imported no inferior wheat at all.
