RUSSIA

EXTRA EDITION.

TBEATY WITH BRITAIN. COMMENT BY AGENT-GENERAL. BY CABL’3—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT! (Received Aug. 10, 12.35 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 15. “If they like to make fools of themselves that dees not compel us to follow suit,” was the comment of one of the Dominion Agent-Generals on the Dominions’ view of the Anglo-Soviet, treaty. A Foreign Office official points out that the treaty only concerned Britain, but if any of the Dominions wished to join in the Government would willingly welcome them. As the matter now stood Britain had done hard work and paved the way,, and if the Dominions desired they could reap the benefit, either by separate formal agreements with Russia or by concurrence .with the British treaty.—Sydney Sun Cables.
