PEEPS AT PEOPLE. THE MAN WHO “GROWLS.” Most men “growl” a bit. It’s their prerogative. Some do it from policy. Sort of suggests “I’m boss of this house,” and helps to command respect. But when a man growls at the weather, sneers at his food, snaps at his children, and finds fault with everyone, there’s something wrong. Overwork or mental strain, likely. “Malt.exo” (Wilson’s Malt Extract) will “buck him up,” restore his “pep,” brings back his natural, even temper and kind disposition. A man can’t feel good-natured and amiable when liis food gives him indigestion, when lie’s worn out and run down, when his nerves are on edge. “Maltexo” sweetens things up a bit. With or without cod liver oil. —2
