A CHANGE ROUND.
APPOINTMENT FOR PATEA MEMBER, (By Telegraph.—Special to Star) _ WELLINGTON, July 17. When the House of Representatives set up the sessional committees to-day Mr \\ illord, Leader of the Opposition, drew the attention of the House to the fact that Mr Masters’ name had been dropped from the committee dealing with matters pertaining to the agricultural and pastoral industries and stock, and Mr Corrigan’s name substituted. Mr Masters had been on that committee ever since he had come into the House. Why ha<A lie been taken off? Had it anything to do with his strenuous effort in regard to the Dairy Control Bill.
Mr Nosworthy replied that the only reason was that Mr Corrigan was a farmer from a farming district, and the Minister thought it fair to give him a turn, a's he wanted a farmer on the committee.
