CHATR. AT VICTORIA COLLEGE. (by.TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, July 1. Cabinet has granted the usual subsidy of £1 ior £1 on the donation of £IO.OOO made by the.- Hon. Sir Walter Buchanan, M.L.C.. for the establishment of a chair of agriculture at Victoria University College. Professor Peren was recently appointed to tho chair as first professor of agriculture at the college.
