Mr J. Ruttiman, formerly a resident ofAuroa, is a visitor to the British Empire Exhibition. .A very successful and enjoyable concert and playette -was given in the Eltham Town Hall last night by the Eltham Magpies. There was a large attendance. The function was inaugurated by the Eltham Football Club, and the proceeds are to be devoted to the purchase of equipment for a local gymnasium. Great interest and amusement was caused by a number of parodies and quips by two local artists. The management deserve great credit for the production of an entertainment which met with the general appreciation of the patrons, CAN DISPENSE WITH THEM. The effect of Chamberlain’s Tablets is so beneficial that after a course has been taken their use can nearly always be dispensed with. They produce a natural habit of the bowels, by stimulating the muscular movement, thus gradually educating them to act regularly and naturally. When this stage is. reached, by merely taking a dose of Chamberlain’s Tablets at regular intervals you will keep your bowels in perfect order.—Advt.
