Sydney, This day
At a meeting of the anti-convention Bill League, Sir George Dibbs presiding, it was decided to emphatically protest against the Federal Bill as amended by the Premiers and to form a committee to resist the Bill unless amended so as to justly conserve the interests of New South Wales, ani to raise funds to carry out the campaign. Already ten thousand signatures have been attached to the League's antiBill petition.
