(OWN COBRESPONDENT.') Wellington, last night. It has been decided not to raise the school age to six. The Land Boards will probably be continued, at least for the pi esent. The Council have passed the Harbor Bill, but modifications have been made.

The Government proposal to borrow one million pounds, and to make it last three years was carried by a majority of eleven. There is no chance of any change in the Native Land laws this session, as the Government bills cannot be got through, but the Premier again promised comprehensive and radical measure on the subject next session.
